Vladimir Trapara has been working at the Institute of International Politics and Economics since 2011. He acquired his PhD title at the International and European Studies cathedra of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade in 2015. Since 2017 he has been performing duties of the Head of the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies. From 2017 to 2021 he was editor-in-chief of a scientific journal Međunarodna politika (International Politics). He is an organizer of a regular Winter school of international relations of the IIPE. His main field of academic interest are Russia and the United States’ foreign policies and relations. Besides, he deals with an array of other significant international topics, as well as with IR theories and Serbia’s foreign policy. He has published three scientific monographs – Time of “Reset”: Russia-United States Relations from 2009 to 2012, Russia’s Wars 1999-2019, and Russia and Ukraine: Origins of a Tragedy – as well as over 50 scientific papers in journals and collections.
