Head of the Embassy of Iraq in Belgrade, Mr. Haider Swadi, visited the Institute of International Politics and Economics, and underlined the interest of Iraqi institutions for academic and diplomatic cooperation.
He pointed to former long-standing cooperation between Baghdad and Belgrade and expressed hope for future cooperation between the IIPE and Iraqi scientific institutions in the field of international relations.
Deputy director of the IIPE, Dr Ivona Lađevac, presented to the head of the Embassy and to the Embassy’s counsellor Ahmed Ambulmunem Ahmed, the modalities of IIPE international cooperation and expressed the interest of the Institute to develop such cooperation with Iraqi institutions.
