Senior Research Fellow
Miloš Petrović has been employed at the Institute of International Politics and Economics (IIPE) since 2019 and is an occasional guest lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPS) at the University of Belgrade. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal International Problems, published by IIPE. Dr. Petrović researches phenomena in the field of European studies, with a primary focus on European integration (within the framework of EU neighborhood and enlargement policies), with additional emphasis on contemporary political and historical processes in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. He defended his doctoral dissertation at FPS on the topic of Incomplete Integration as an Obstacle to the Political Development of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union; he obtained his master’s degree in European Integration at the European Institute of Saarland University, Saarbrücken (Germany), and completed his undergraduate studies at FPS (International Studies program). During all levels of his studies, he was the recipient of numerous scholarships. His latest co-authored monograph, Serbia and the European Union Two Decades After the Thessaloniki Summit, was published (in Serbian) by IIPE in 2023.
