In the aftermath of the conference “NATO aggression on FR Yugoslavia: 20 years later”, Institute of International Politics and Economics and Faculty of Security, University of Belgrade, organised a one–day sightseeing trip for foreign and domestic conference participants, and the IIPEʼs and Facultyʼs employees. The tour started with the visit to Avala TV Tower and the Museum of Emission Technology. In a guided tour, visitors first learned about the demolition and reconstruction of the TV Tower which had been a target in the NATO aggression. Visitors enjoyed the roof-deck at the TV Towerʼs top. The tour continued in the tourist complex of Oplenac (Topola), where the group learned about the history of the Church of St. George, the Karađorđević dynasty crypt, and the house of Serbian King Peter I. The sightseeing tour ended at the Royal Winery located nearby.
