Research Associate
Vuk Lazić joined the Institute of International Politics and Economics in April 2018. The main areas of his academic interest are Serbian foreign policy and Balkan studies, with focus on politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey`s Balkan policy. Vuk is a PhD student in International and European Studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, where he also earned MA in International Studies (International Politics), and had graduated at the Department of Political Science. The topic of his MA work is The Geopolitical Importance of Eastern Bosnia for the Republic of Srpska. He authored research article “The political, economic and cultural aspects of Turkey’s presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina after 2003” based on the research conducted as part of the internship programme for postgraduate students at the Institute of International Politics and Economics (May–June 2017).
