Research Fellow
Nevena Stanković has joined the Institute of International Politics and Economics in November 2009. She graduated and earned her MA degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations, University of Belgrade. In 2019 she obtained her PhD at the Faculty of Law, Public Management and Security, Megatrend University. Her dissertation is entitled “Harmonization of the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Serbia with the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy in the context of the Treaty of Lisbon.“
Her main areas of academic research include the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Serbia, European Integration Process of Republic of Serbia with particular focus on the Negotiation Chapters 35 and 31, Belgrade – Pristina Dialogue and the Normalization of Relations Process as well as European Union Institutional Structure and Common Foreign and Security Policy. She authored the monograph, Serbia and the European Union: Foreign Policy Dilemmas, Limitations, Implications – Chapters 35 and 31, published (in Serbian) by IIPE on October 2024.
From 2015 to 2021 Nevena was IIPE`s PR person and from 2011 to 2013 the assistant coordinator of the IIPE Ambassadorial Forum.
Nevena is a member of the Editorial Board of the IIPE journal European Union Legislation as well as a member of the Forum for International Relations within the framework of the European Movement in Serbia.
