Ana Jović-Lazić holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Belgrade. She joined the Institute of International Politics and Economics in 2002. Her research interests include Serbian positions in contemporary international relations, especially relations with the European Union and Russia. She is also interested in the geopolitics of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. Ana paid special attention to domestic and foreign policy and the “frozen conflicts” of the countries of the post-Soviet space, which are located between the EU and Russia. She has published in the country and abroad and participated in domestic and international conferences and round tables.
Ana is the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal International Politics (Међународна политика), published by IIPE. Previously, she was the deputy editor-in-chief and a member of the editorial board of the same journal. She is also the president of the Scientific Council and the representative of IIPE in the Assembly of the Association of Institutes of Serbia. Ana is a member of the Forum for International Relations of the European Movement in Serbia and was the deputy president of the same Forum. She is also a member of the International Studies Association (ISA) and the Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN).
