The Institute of International Politics and Economics marked 71 years of its existence with a solemn reception attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and representatives of the diplomatic corps as well as members of the academic and scientific community. On this occasion, director of the Institute Dr. Branislav Đorđević addressed the guests, which was followed by an artistic program performed by the artistic ensemble of the Ministry of Defense “Stanislav Binički”. Numerous institutions and individuals sent congratulations to the Institute on the occasion of a big holiday. During the ceremony, the director of the Institute awarded the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Li Manchang, as well as Lutz Kober, Director of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Serbia, for contribution to the Institute`s endeavors. On the occasion of the Institute`s anniversary, guests were able to see the publications of the Institute from 2018, as well as the thematic exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the end of the First World War “Little Stories from the Great War”.
