Dr. Nemanja Vukčević, Research Fellow of the Institute, at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, participated in the conference organized to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Kursk. Dr. Vukčević spoke about N.I. Rizhkov, the last prime minister of the USSR, but also a senator of the Russian Federation, whose role and relationship were significant during the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and later the Republic of Serbia.
The conference was held in the complex of the State Military History Museum “Prokhorovsko Polje”, in the Belgorod region, and gathered the highest provincial political leadership and other prominent figures.
