Institute of International Politics and Economics, in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, organized the fifth annual roundtable with international participation on the topic of the European Union enlargement policy goals between idealism and realism.
After brief remarks from representatives of the Institute and the Hans Seidel Foundation, a panel followed featuring presentations by Prof. Dr. Georgios Christidis from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivana Radić Milosavljević from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade; Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki, researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw; and Dr. Milenko Petrović, senior researcher at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. Dr. Miloš Petrović, IIPE research fellow, provided commentary on the presentations. The event concluded with a discussion and recap on the limitations, scope, and prospects of the European Union enlargement policy.
