A delegation from the newly established World Association for China Studies (WACS), led by Dr. Xie Fuzhan, the Association’s President, paid a visit to the Institute of International Politics and Economics. The delegation was greeted by Professor Branislav Đorđević, the Director of the Institute, and researchers from the Regional Centre “Belt and Road” were also in attendance. The meeting revolved around discussing the outcomes and forthcoming plans of the scientific research related to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which is a one of the components of the IIPE’s research endeavours.
Additionally, the participants deliberated on strategies for further advancement of China Studies within the global academic community. Professor Branislav Đorđević expressed his optimistic belief that the Institute of International Politics and Economics would play a vital role in advancing these efforts in the near future.
