H. e. Mr. Leyde Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Serbia, held a lecture “The principles of Cuba’s foreign policy”, under the auspices of the Ambassadorial Forum.
During the lecture, Mr. Rodríguez Hernández pointed out the leading principles of Cuba’s foreign policy, such as sovereign equality, territorial integrity, and the principle of non-interference in domestic affairs. He also emphasized the role of Cuba within the various formats of Global South cooperation, such as the G77 + China Summit, recently held in Havana. The cooperation in the field of medicine was stressed as one of the important areas of international cooperation.
The lecture was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of the academic community, as well as researchers and volunteers from the Institute of International Politics and Economics.
