The traditional, twenty-eighth International Scientific Conference “Regional Development and Demographic Flows of Southeastern European Countries” was held at the Faculty of Economics, University of Niš.
At the very beginning, an expert panel was held within the Horizon Europe project UR DATA, whose coordinator is the Faculty of Economics in Niš. The panel was presented by participants from Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, as well as academician of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Dr. Dušan Teodorović.
The presentations of the participants were divided into four panels. In the second panel, Isidora Pop-Lazić, IIPE’s Research Associate, presented her paper entitled “Demography as a factor in the realization of minority rights of Serbs in Croatia”. In her work, Isidora presented the thesis that the methodology and atmosphere in which population censuses are conducted in Croatia directly affect the extent of the realization of minority rights of Serbs in Croatia.
The presented works will be published in the proceedings collection.
