Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between IIPE and the Department of the Political Science of the Sapienza University (Rome), the debate on Balkan politics has been organized. The debate was opened by Prof. Paolo Sellari, head of Master program in geopolitics and global security.
Dr Slobodan Janković, head of the IIPE’s Centre for Neighbourly and Mediterranean Countries, and Dr. Giorgio Fruscione (Istituto diaStudi politici internazionali – ISPI), spoke of Balkan politics and positioning of the big powers in the peninsula. In particular they focused on internal political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and of incidents in Northern Kosovo and Metohija.
Besides IIPE researchers, debate was attended by students of the Master in geopolitics and global security of the University Sapienza, Rome.
