The IIPE’s researchers Dr. Vladimir Trapara, Dr. Nebojša Vuković, and Dr. Nenad Stekić participated in the round table “Contemporary Armed Conflicts: Theory and Practice”.
Dr. Vladimir Trapara systematized the discussion about the causes of the armed conflict in Ukraine. About the return of medium/high intensity conflicts in international relations and dilemmas in defense system planning spoke Dr. Nebojša Vuković, while Dr. Nenad Stekić presented criticisms of tools for prediction of modern armed conflicts.
The meeting was organized and held at the premises of the Strategic Research Institute of the University of Defence. In addition to researchers from the Institute of International Politics and Economics, representatives from the Faculty of Political Sciences, the Military Academy, the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security, the Institute for Political Studies, and the Faculty of Security Studies participated the event.
