As part of the PERSPECTIVES 2030 project (Politico-Economic Relations and Social Patterns Evolution between China and CEE by 2030 – Trends, Interactions, Variables, Engagement, Scenarios – PERSPECTIVES 2030) a round table was held at the Aeroclub.
The goal of the round table was to identify key indicators that will shape political, economic, and social relations between China and Central and Eastern European countries by 2030 through multidisciplinary discussion and analysis.
Participants examined major trends in trade, investment, and infrastructure cooperation, as well as key variables that may influence the development of relations across different sectors. Special attention was given to defining possible interaction scenarios and their implications for the region, along with developing a framework for monitoring and evaluating future relations between China and Central and Eastern European countries.
The round table brought together prominent experts, researchers, and policymakers, who contributed to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of these relations over the next decade through their analyses and recommendations. The conclusions from the discussion will serve as a foundation for further research and the formulation of strategic recommendations within the PERSPECTIVES 2030 project.
Project PERSPECTIVES 2030 is implemented by researchers from the Institute of International Politics and Economics and funded by the China-CEE Institute in Budapest.
