Employees of the Institute of International Politics and Economics led by the director Prof. Dr. Branislav Đorđević and deputy director Dr. Ivona Lađevac visited the Archives of Yugoslavia. In a conversation with the director of the Archives, Dr. Milan Terzić, the IIPE employees had the opportunity to get acquainted with the scope and importance of archival material owned by the Archive of Yugoslavia, with a later exchange of opinions on the importance of archival material for conducting historical and research on contemporary international relations.

The visit to the Archives was particularly significant due to the fact that it houses the entire archival material of the Institute of International Politics and Economics from its founding in 1947 to 2006.

The employees also visited the exhibition dedicated to the participation of athletes from the former Yugoslavia in the Olympic Games, the depots with archival material on the foreign policy of the former state, reading room, as well as the laboratory responsible for the conservation and restoration of archival material and received documents.

During the visit, frameworks for deepening cooperation between the two institutions were discussed as well.
