The final workshop for the project “Climate Migration in the Western Balkans: Legal Framework and Security” was held from December 16 to 18 at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in Cottbus, Germany. Representing IIPE at the workshop were Dr. Ivona Lađevac, Dr. Marko Novaković, and Pavle Nedić. During their presentations, they highlighted the legal dimensions of climate migration and the connection between international security, politics, and migration. As part of the workshop, the strategic project meeting was also held, where partners analyzed potential future forms of cooperation.
The project was implemented by BTU in partnership with the Institute for International Politics and Economics (IIPE) and the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University from Skopje.
