Aljoša Milenković, a renowned journalist and war correspondent, delivered a lecture at the Institute of International Politics and Economics titled “Humanity of Tomorrow: Realities and Possibilities”.
Drawing on his extensive firsthand experience, Mr. Milenković offered insights into the dynamics and directions of change within global society. He emphasized the enduring threats posed by nuclear weapons, alongside emerging challenges like artificial intelligence. Milenković argued that to preserve the core pillars of civilization—education, science, health, and culture—society must not only raise awareness of these evolving challenges but actively engage with them. Passive observation, he noted, will not suffice. He stressed the critical role of the scientific community in navigating these complexities.
The lecture was attended by researchers, volunteers, friends and guests of the Institute.
