IIPE research fellows Dr. Sanja Jelisavac Trošić, Dr. Danilo Babić and Dr. Mitko Arnaudov, participated in the international scientific conference “Cooperative multipolar system: In quest for new world order” organized by the Center for Global Changes of the Cyril and Methodius University and held on October 3rd and 4th in Skopje.

On the panel “Interplay and dynamics of subregions and regional powers”, Dr. Babić has presented his paper “Place of Sub-Saharan Africa in the multipolar world: Between the Dragon, the Polar Bear, and the European ‘Gateway'”, while colleagues Dr. Jelisavac Trošić and Dr. Arnaudov presented the co-authored study “Political and economic challenges and opportunities of small states in the chapter of re-building infrastructure of international relations: A case study of Serbia and North Macedonia”.

The participants of the conference were representatives of the academic community of several countries, and among the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of North Macedonia, there were also the ambassador of the Russian Federation and the chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of China.
