Dr. Stefano Valente, researcher at Sapienza University and visiting researcher at the Institute for International Politics and Economics, gave a lecture on “Energy Security and Qatar’s Role in the Geopolitical Balance of the Middle East”.
Valente presented the changes in the understanding of the security concept and the way it includes the provision of energy sources. Qatar and the role that this country plays in the physical and financial markets in the geopolitical balance of the Middle East were in the focus of the lecture.
