The Institute of International Politics and Economics organized a round table entitled “Extended deterrence in contemporary international relations: back to the future – pro et contra”.
Among others, Assistant Minister of Defense for Defense Policy Predrag Bandić, Colonel Dušan Mrdak from the Sector for Defense Policy and Dr. Milomir Stepić, Principal Research Fellow of the Institute for Political Studies, took a part in the round table.
Round table was organized in two thematic panels “European security in the context of extended deterrence” and “The Middle East and hinterland in the strategic matrix of extended deterrence”, which were followed by a debate at the theoretical and practical level.
