Students and professors of Tsinghua University visited the Institute of International Politics and Economics.
At the very beginning, the attendees were greeted by Prof. Dr. Branislav Đorđević, Director of the Institute, welcoming the students and underlining the importance of cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and Serbia throughout history and in the modern era. Wang Xiaolong, representative of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Serbia, welcomed the students to Serbia.
Researchers from the Regional Centre “Belt and Road”, as well as research assistants and research associates from the Institute, engaged in discussion with students and professors of Tsinghua University. The conversation covered issues of political and economic relations between Serbia and China, cultural cooperation between the two countries, the importance of raising relations between China and Serbia from the level of strategic partnership to the community with a shared future, as well as forms of cooperation between the Institute of International Politics and Economics and Chinese academic institutions.
