Dr. Miloš Petrović, Research Fellow at the IIPE Centre for Euro-Atlantic studies, took part in an international school organized by the National Institute of Manuscripts in Tbilisi and the Sokhumi State University. The gathering focused on the social studies of Georgia, with a particular emphasis on the region of Abkhazia in contemporary and historical perspectives.

Dr. Petrović’s activities consisted out of the keynote address (16th of June) and the lecture titled “Georgia, Serbia and the geopolitical fault lines” (17th of June), which focused on the context of the European integration of the two nations.

Apart from the representatives of scientific, educational and cultural institutions from Georgia, the gathering also assembled participants from Italy, Armenia, Poland, and Turkey.
