IIPE’s research fellows, Dr. Katarina Zakić and Dr. Nenad Stekić, participated in the 18th International Scientific Conference – Łódź East Asia Meeting: “International Relations and the Role of State and Non-State Actors in Asia”. Dr. Zakić presented a paper on the topic “The Future of the Sino-Serbian Free Trade Agreement: Possibilities and Challenges” and Dr. Stekić paper titled “Taiwan in Chinese Contemporary Security Policy: Cross-Strait Tensions as a Global Security Locus”.
The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Asian Studies and the Center for Asian Studies at the University of Łódź (Poland). In total 55 authors from seven countries participated in the conference.
The presented papers represent the initial findings of the COMPASS scientific project.
