This is the fourth year that the Institute of International Politics and Economics together with the Faculty of Security Studies organized yearly scientific conference on geopolitics and strategic studies. This year`s focus was on the Indo-Pacific and the strategic rivalries that have hung over the region for years now. Through four thematic panels the participants of the conference debated on the wider geopolitical context of the Indo-Pacific, strategies of great powers in the Indo-Pacific, as well as the interregional dynamics of Northeast, Southeast and Southern Asia.
Besides researchers form the International Politics and Economics and professors from the Faculty of Security Studies, colleagues from the Institute of Political Studies, Institute of European Studies and Defense University – National Defense School also participated in the conference.
