The Institute of International Politics and Economics organized a round table entitled “South Caucasus: Reactivated Hotspot”. Speakers at the event included Dr. Dušan Proroković, Dr. Dragan Petrović, and Stefan Bošković from the Institute of International Politics and Economics, as well as Goran Sandić from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade and Nikola Rajić from the Faculty of Law and Business Studies Dr. Lazar Vrkatić. The moderator of the event was Pavle Nedić from the Institute of International Politics and Economics.
The topics discussed at the event included the foreign policy strategies of the regional countries Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, the geopolitical positions of the South Caucasus in the context of the great power competition, as well as various aspects of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. The round table was attended by researchers from the Institute of International Politics and Economics and participants of the Winter School of International Relations.
