Nikola Marković, MA, Research Assistant at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, held the introductory lecture: “The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes and the Greek-Italian conflict over Corfu in 1923”.
Colleague Marković presented the general political situation in Europe at the time of the Corfu crisis and how it reflected on the Yugoslav-Italian dispute over Rijeka. Finally, Marković concluded that annexation, avoidance of international institutions and violent actions characterized international relations until 1945.
