Dr. Nevena Šekarić Stojanović, IIPE’s Research Associate, participated at the 7th Regional Security Coordination Conference „Security cooperation in the Western Balkans – Challenges and lessons from pandemics to war in Ukraine“. Within the first panel „Critical events management: Energy security in the Western Balkans“, Nevena presented her views on key energy actors in the Western Balkans and on energy crisis in the region and its impact on both regional and individual level.
The 7th Regional Security Coordination Conference was held 17–18 November, 2022 in Rome and was organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The Conference gathered more than 50 researchers and experts from the Western Balkans and other stakeholders who were discussing diverse security issues within 5 panels.
