MSc Ljubomir Tintor, MESTD scholarship holder, gave a lecture on “State responsibility for damage caused by climate change – challenges in applying the classic rules of international responsibility”. Ljubomir presented the international legal regime of climate change, with reference to the Articles on state responsibility for internationally wrongful acts and their application in the matter of international climate change law. Finally, he pointed to the judicial mechanisms for resolving disputes in this area and current and potential problems. The lecture was attended by Institute researchers and volunteers.
