The Center for Neighborhood and Mediterranean of the Institute for International Politics and Economics organized an online conference with international participation entitled “Great powers alignment and regional impact“.
Conference gathered Prof. Alexander Vladimirovich Lukin from the Faculty of World Economy and International Relations, Prof. Igor Pellicciari, from the Department of Economics, Society and Politics, University of Urbino, Timothy Less from the Center for Geopolitics, University of Cambridge, Prof. Ekatarina Genadevna Entina, Director of the Mediterranean Studies Centre at the Faculty of World Economy and International Relations and Dr. Slobodan Janković and M.A. Danilo Babić from the IIPE. Dr. Aleksandar Mitić, the IIPE’s research fellow, moderated the conference.
Discussion followed after presentations was primarily focused on current challenges and future directions of development of international and regional relations, especially in the Balkans and the Middle East.
