The Institute of European Studies and the Institute of International Politics and Economics jointly organized the lecture “Latin America and the Current Geopolitical Situation in the Modern World”, held by Prof. Dejan Mihailović from the University of Technology in Monterrey, Mexico. In this way, the successful cooperation between the two institutes continued, of which one, IIPE, this year celebrates a great jubilee – 75 years since its founding.
As an expert in Latin America, who has lived and worked in Mexico for more than three decades, Professor Mihailović introduced the political, economic and social circumstances of this part of the world to numerous listeners of the hybrid model held lecture. Inevitably, both during the lecture and during the discussion, the current Ukrainian crisis and its possible consequences in the world were discussed.
