Dr Aleksandar Mitić, Research Fellow at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, gave an introductory lecture on the “Genesis and Application of Strategic Narrative Contestation on China-CEEC Cooperation”. Aleksandar presented key elements of the competition of narratives between supporters and opponents of cooperation among China and countries of Central and Eastern Europe within the Belt and Road Initiative. He gave particular attention to the evolution of strategic communication aimed against China-CEEC cooperation and the categorization of frames, methods and ramifications of contestation.
