Research fellows of Institute of International Politics and Economics (IIPE), Miloš Jončić, PhD, and Aleksandar Mitić, PhD, participated on September 14 at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Banja Luka in the roundtable “Military Neutrality of Republika Srpska and the Republic of Serbia: Joint Vessels”.
Mitić took part in the first panel “Military Neutrality in the Multipolar World”, while Jončić participated in the second panel “Perspectives of Serbian Military Neutrality”.
The general assessment of the roundtable was that the military neutrality of the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska is strongly tied and of key importance for the preservation of Serbian national interests.
A particular attention was paid to the need for the strengthening of military neutrality through solutions such as the adoption of the Law on military neutrality.
The roundtable at the Faculty of Political Science was organized in the context of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag. Apart from the IIPE researchers, among the participants were Željko Budimir, PhD (Faculty of Political Science, Banja Luka), Milomir Stepić, PhD (Institute of Political Studies), Miloš Jovanović, PhD (Faculty of Law, Belgrade), Srđa Trifković, PhD (Faculty of Political Science, Banja Luka), Predrag Ćeranić, PhD (Faculty of Security Sciences, Banja Luka), Miloš Šolaja, PhD (Faculty of Political Science, Belgrade), Srđan Perišić, PhD (Faculty of Philosophy, East Sarajevo) and Nevenko Vranješ, PhD (Faculty of Political Science, Banja Luka)
The IIPE researchers also gave media statements for RTRS, Alternativna TV, N1, and participated together in the premiere of the new RTRS political show “Another angle” (“Drugi ugao”).
