As part of IIPE flagship lecture series, “Ambassadorial Forum”, H.E. Mr Gustavo Tristá del Todo, the Ambassador of Cuba to Serbia, delivered an online lecture “Cuban Vaccine Candidates: New Hope Against COVID-19”. Mr Tristá del Todo focused his talk on the recent innovations in Cuban medical research and brought attention to the five Cuban coronavirus vaccine candidates that reached the final stages of testing. The lecture was followed by a lively discussion triggered in the Q&A part of the “Ambassadorial Forum”. The lecture gathered representatives of the diplomatic corps, scholars, academicians, and the IIPE researchers and alumni.
