A delegation Northeast China’s Liaoning Province visited Institute of International Politics and Economics. The delegation was led by the Vice Governor, Mr. Chen Xiangqun.
The guests were introduced to the organization and activities of IIPE by the director, Prof. Branislav Đorđević, while Prof. Ljubiša Stojmirović, Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, spoke about political relations between two countries. Prof. Marina Soković, Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development spoke about the scientific cooperation framework between the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China.
Guest questions related to China’s economic investment in Serbia, within the Belt and Road Initiative, were answered by Prof. Katarina Zakić, Associate of the Belt and Road Center.
Besides IIPE’s associates, the meeting was attended by Prof. Zoran Jeftić from the Faculty of Security Studies and Ms. Jelena Dimić from the Emergency Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
By the end of the visit, guests toured IIPE’s the Belt and Road Center.
