International scientific conference “Economic and Trade Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative: Retrospective and Prospect” was held in Beijing on May 20, 2019. Conference was organized by Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), CASS and Shanghai Academy and sponsored by Presidium of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The conference was attended by Prof. Branislav Djordjevic, Director of Institute of International Politics and Economics, and Ivona Lađevac, Ph.D., Head of the Regional Center “Belt and Road”. Their speeches were on the topic of economic cooperation between China and CEEC’s and the main challenges and risks for the implementation of the BRI in CEEC’s region.
