7–8 June 2018
Dr. Srđan Korać, IIPE Deputy Director for Research, participated at the latest Pre-Presidency Conference on 7 and 8 June at the Institute for Advanced Studies (Institut für Höhere Studien), Vienna, organised by TEPSA (The Trans European Policy Studies Association). The regular semi-annual TEPSA Pre-Presidency conferences take place in the capital of the country holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU prior to the beginning of its mandate. The main aim of the conferences is to bring together researchers, policy-makers, media and CSOs to discuss the agenda and challenges of the upcoming Council Presidencies, and formulate recommendations. TEPSA was founded in 1974 as the first transnational research network in the field of European affairs, and today it gathers 39 full and associate members from 35 European countries. The Institute of International Politics and Economics, as a scientific organisation that studies international relations and European integration, was invited to represent Serbia at this event as a guest. Dr. Korać discussed the possibilities of future cooperation of the IIPE and TEPSA with Prof. Michael Kaeding, Chairman of TEPSA Board, Prof. Jaap de Zwan, TEPSA Secretary General, and Mariam Khotenashvili, Head of Office.
