4th International Conference: Preservation and protection of Serbian cultural and historical heritage abroad
Тhe fourth international scientific conference dedicated to the preservation and protection of the cultural heritage of Serbia was held at the Institute for International Politics and Economics, Belgrade, on 18 and 19 October 2012.
On this occasion, the Institute has hosted many eminent experts from home and abroad involved in the protection and preservation of cultural and historical heritage abroad. Authors expressed different views to this topic (historical, archaeological, legal, and economic) in the light of the importance and the need for protection of the cultural and historical heritage.
The conference was organized in the framework of the implementation of macro research goals: "Serbia in Contemporary International Relations: Strategic directions for strengthening the international position of Serbia and integration processes - foreign policy, international economic, legal and security aspects" (project 179 029 EVB).

This year special place had the theme: "Enhancing regional cooperation in the protection and preservation of cultural and historical heritage."
