The Workshop entitled: “Current Serbia-Turkey Relations” was organized by the Institute of International Politics and Economics and the Center for Strategic Research (SAM), Ankara, on 17th June 2015, at Conference Hall of IIPE. After workshop coordinator Vladimir Trapara had welcomed guests and met them with the workshop program, opening remarks were given by H.E. Mr. Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Turkish Ambassador to Serbia, Prof. Ali Resül Usul, SAM Chairman and Prof. Branislav Đorđević, director of IIPE. The first Panel- Turkey and Serbia’s Balkan Policies included lectures delivered by Asst. Prof. Mehmet Uğur Ekinci, SETA, Ankara, Vladimir Ajzenhamer, MA, Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade, Assoc. Prof. Birgül Demirtaş, TOBB, Ankara and Slobodan Janković, PhD, IIPE. The second panel comprized lectures given by Assoc. Prof. Didem Ekinci Sarıer, Cankaya University, Ankara, Prof. Jovan Teokarević, Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade and Đorđe Pavlović, MA, Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade. Speakers evaluated Turkish-Serbian bilateral relations in the context of regional cooperation in Southeastern Europe, which was followed by discussion.
